Why an Owl?
I worked and worked on making some type of logo or symbol for Fran-Lupo Animal Healing and Communication. I am not the best at drawing and the logos I tried just didn't feel worthy. I sat one morning and just asked St Francis and AA Raphael to help me find something significant to use as a symbol of this wonderful energy for animals. It hit me like a ton of bricks. I was to use my owl picture.
On Christmas Day 2012, I was feeling a bit down. As I walked into my kitchen I saw something very large fly by my window. My husband had told me about spotting an owl a few nights before. I knew that this bird was the owl and I knew where he was going. I grabbed my camera, ran upstairs, and opened the window. There he was sitting in the old dead tree. I started taking pictures of him. He looked right at me. How beautiful he was. He stayed for along time as I snapped picture after picture. Then I stopped and just watched him. He would turn his head away and then back. I felt a connection to him. I watched him until he spread those huge wings and flew away. He left me with a sense of awe and in a far better mood.
I searched and found my favorite picture from the many I took that Christmas morning. I finally realized, that was not a random visit from an owl who normally wouldn't be out at that time of day. There was a purpose to this visit and it was more than just to cheer me up. He was meant to be part of this Healing System. This Barred Owl is the mascot for Fran-Lupo Animal Healing and Communication.
Fran-Lupo is not only meant for our pets but for all animals on the Earth.
The Owl is a symbol of Wisdom!
The Owl is believed to have great healing powers!
I am thankful this Barred Owl made his presence known to me on that cold and snowy Christmas morning. I am proud to have him as a symbol of Fran-Lupo Animal Healing and Communication.
